Hola Familia Tew!
How`s it going?  I live in the land of Pineapple.  I want to comment on your letters, but first I have something funny to tell you.  Yesterday we went to El Eden three times yesterday.  The third time the neighbor of one of our investigators (that`s hopefully going to get baptized this Saturday) gave us two huge HUGE pineapples.  It`s about a 25 minute walk from his house  to La Borgoña and there`s two big hills.  haha.  So we basically went on a hike with two pineapples!  Saturday we went to El Eden and I came back with two mangos, an avacado and a pineapple in my backpack.  WE have some sweet investigators in El Eden.  I`m going to tell you about them in a minute.
Mom - I really enjoyed your letter.  I got two dear elders last week.  One took 12 days to get here.  That`s about the fastest I`ve seen.  It sounds like you`ve been having a good time having people over and doing stuff for English class.  Ipm sure the missionaries are really glad to have you!  Did Eduardo and Esperanza get baptized?  Say hi tothe Spanish group for me!  The hymn sing sounds fabulous.  I may have almost cried when I read that no one sings in the house anymore.  But that sounds great.  Tell the Caprons and the Robbins and the Binghams I say hi!  And also tell Dale Helfer that I say hi!  What is Andrew up to?  Is he on his mission?  I miss the Helfers.  And EVERYONE in gillette.  Love to all!
Dani  don`t get to wild out there in New York!   Congrats Doug for finishing!
Scotty, Happy Birthday my little dragon friend.  Please don`t eat my mother.
Kevin  Good job finishing your written qualifiers!  Woo hoo!  I bet you did really well!  Congrats!
Dad,  Wow sounds like the missionaries in the stake are on fire!  That`s great!  And rabbit food sounds delicious!  Awww... singing in the living room!  Sounds fabulous.  Congrats on all the great things that are happening.

Well, we are teaching two cool families that live out in El Edén.  One is Rafael.  He has to get married to his compañera, and we are going to find out wednesday if he can get married this Saturday.  Miracles happen because he was scared about getting married before.  We went with Elder Tencio, our district leader one day because we didn`t know what else to do with him and Elder Tencio just talked to him about their goals as a couple and Rafael started talking about having fresquito... well basically punch in the house one day, and I was like, wait... are we talking about a wedding?  YES!!!! Woo hoo!  So, he wants to get married.  The cool thing is that he was praying for strength to resist temptations and stuff and a few days later the missionaries found him.  He prays like grandpa Tew, because he really talks to God.  When we first met him, I didnt think he seemed that interested or positive, but he has a lot of faith, and he wants to follow Gods commandments.  He is a really neat guy.
We are also visiting a family where the mom`s sister is a member.  They have four kids.  Two of them came to church with us this Sunday.  Its amazing how receptive kids are to the gospel.  They recognize good.  They want to be good. Joselyn and Luis came with us.  They called us (minutes are expensive here and people don`t call unless they need to) at 6 50 yesterday morning to make sure that we were going to come pick them up.  She is reading her book of mormon!  They both want to come next week, even though primary was crazy!!!!  They were all ready when we went to pick them up.  They were dressed up in their nice clothes and had their hair all done nicely.  Hopefully they can get their parents excited about church too!  They are miracles!  I love little kids.
The people here are very receptive.  They are more humble than the people in Masatepe, generally speaking.  I love my area and Im trying to have more faith that we can baptize a lot here and that the branch can grow into a good ward.   I`m also tryign to have more love for the people.  A lot of the time I just want to tell them theyre wrong, so patience is important too.
I love you all.
Love, love, love, Hna Tew
