Hey Family,
Thanks for the letter Dad and Dani.
The rest of you, write me please!
Mom, can you send my letters to Mary Katherine? MK can you send my letters to Regan?
Love, Hna Tew
Hey there folks!
Dad, congrats on the success you`ve been having with the temple goal! Good job working on the house too,
Mom,
speak Spanish everyday with Dad. Just do it! Good luck with the
English classes and say hi to the Popes and the Carrolls and Lucia and
Bartolo and Laritza and everyone in Gillette!
Dani, thanks for the emails. Sounds like you all are getting ready to
leave the east coast! I hope you find a great job for Doug.
Doug, good job on your tests. I heard they went well.
I
can see the Big Dipper and the Southern Cross every night. Also, I`m
pretty sure that I see the Lion and maybe the centaur??? I`m pretty
sure about the lion.
I survived the Semana Santa.
We`re going to have branch conference next week and I`m playing the piano for the choir.
We`re eating mangos!
I`m 99% sure that I have changes next week. ¡Ya me voy!
I love Masatepe.
Eddy`s dad gave me a bag of three types of leaves to make a tea for my cough. It was pretty nasty, but it felt good.
Hna
Zapeta has a profesy that when I finally fall, it`s because I have
transfers. She has fallen about 3 times and I still haven`t fallen
once. I just slide all over the place but I don`t fall.
Well, everyone got interviewed last Friday for their baptism.
Junior, Rodrigo, and Saeed passed. So did Claudia and Enrique. I don`t
know if Elder Blandin interviewed Enrique or just checked up on a few
questions. As we were walking out of Colonia Taiwan Elder Blandin told
us that in Saeed`s prayer he asked God to bless Elder Blandín, Hna Tew,
and Hna Zapeta. And he thanked God that his family was going to get a
true baptism in the true church. whoa! He`s a crazy kid and the
spittin image of Enrique. Saeed is 8! He`ll be 9 the 25th of April.
Rodrigo has questions about the things we teach and he always wants good
answers. Junior just believes. He believes everything we teach. And
it`s easy. Enrique has lots of good questions and he likes to see his
answers in the scriptures. He`s a good guy. Please please pray for
them! Pray that they can get baptized this Saturday and that they can
feel the Spirit! Pray that nothing will impede them, nothing bad will
happen to them. Claudia already knows everything becuase she was
baptized about 17 years ago but there is no record. We went to their
house last night with William, Esau, and Jacob Lopez. William always
helps us a ton. He must have been a really good missionary. Esau is my
brilliant piano student and Jacob is his twin. They are 15 and they
bore their testimonies about being obedient to their parents. Rodrigo
and Saeed really paid attention when they were talking. It was cool.
The Lopez family is pilas!
Kevin, a nine year old got baptized last Saturday ( two days ago).
We taught him in a week. His mom is a member, she was a little less
active but started coming about a month or two ago. I don`t know if I
told you but we went to theri house to check on a reference (who we
found yesterday SUPER drunk) and she told us that her son wanted to be
baptized and she didn`t know what to do. Bueno, nosotros podemos
ayudarle, hermana. :) It was fun to teach him. He`s super shy, but he
just believed everything we taught. And he kept all his commitments.
He prayed and he felt good. He read the book of Mormon and he believed
it. We told him that it`s a commandment not to drink coffee and he
didn`t ever want to drink coffee again. Children have more faith, or
something. Junior has a ton of faith, and he`s really helping his
family.
Well, I hope everyone is doing okay at home. I hope you`re feeling good Paul. I hope your job is going well
Pictures: me and a tootsie roll. That one´s for you, Dad

Kevin`s baptism
Well, pray for Enrique and Claudia and their
family. Last night we were telling jokes with them and it reminded me
of home! I feel like I have family here too. Xiomara is basically my
mother.
Love, Hna Tew
